Official Announcement for the Annual Finals – December 12
The final chapter of the 2025 season will take place on December 12. This year’s tournament is primarily mixed doubles, featuring eight teams that have advanced through consistent performance across the season. After months of league play, ranking matches, and competitive evaluations, these teams have earned their place in the Grand Slam Annual Finals. The event will test skill, strategy, consistency, and teamwork at the highest level.
Competition Format
Group stage matches are played in a single game to 11 points. The first team to reach 11 points wins, with no requirement to win by 2. The pace is fast and demands strong coordination and quick decision-making.
Semifinals are played in a single game to 15 points, using a win-by-1 format. The first team to reach 15 points advances directly to the finals.
Finals (Final A and Final B) follow a best-of-three format, with each game played to 11 points and requiring a 2-point lead to win. The Grand Slam champion will be crowned based on this final stage.
Group Stage Ranking Rules
The group stage follows a round-robin format, in which each team competes against every other team within the same pool. Rankings are determined in the following order:
Total wins: teams with more wins rank higher.
If tied, point differential (total points scored minus total points conceded) is used.
If still tied, head-to-head results between the tied teams determine the ranking.
If three or more teams remain tied, point differential within the mini round-robin among those teams will be used.
If rankings are still unresolved, the organizing committee may schedule an additional playoff or use a draw to determine final placements.

Advancement
The top two teams from each pool advance to the semifinals. Winners of the semifinals move on to Final A to compete for the 2025 championship title, while the remaining two teams compete in Final B for third place. The winner of Final A will receive the highest honor of the 2025 Grand Slam.
Prize Structure
First Place: prize pack valued at 120 AUD
Second Place: prize pack valued at 50 AUD
Third Place: prize pack valued at 30 AUD
All participating players will receive a participation award in recognition of their involvement throughout the season.

Each team will face their ultimate test on this decisive day. A brief award presentation will be held after the tournament to acknowledge outstanding performances.
